Naomi Hunter has been fighting for Social Justice and Environmental Protection in Saskatchewan for over 30 years. She is one of the Strongest Green Voices in Canada and has fought in numerous Provincial and Federal elections. She has dedicated her time and expertise to Provincial and Federal campaigns throughout Canada and is currently the co-chair of the Green Party’s Women’s Caucus.
Naomi has been working tirelessly speaking with voters and at community events, listening and sharing the Green Party’s Plan for a Strong Green Economy, Fair Taxation, and Participatory Democracy.
Naomi believes that elected officials must remember that they are working for their constituents, not pushing their agendas. She is committed to putting you first and truly being your voice in the legislature.

Affordable Housing
Housing is a human right. Yet today, the housing market is being treated like the stock market. Families across Canada can’t keep up with rising housing costs. Big companies are buying up homes and driving up prices for new buyers and renters. The government has done too little to help. The Green Party has a plan to fix this.
Climate Action
The climate crisis is already here. Extreme weather is making life more expensive for everyone. Big polluters are getting richer. Meanwhile, our governments are still pushing fossil fuel projects. The Green Party has a real plan to cut pollution, build clean energy, and protect Canadians from climate disasters.
Peace & Security
The world faces new threats. Canada must defend itself and promote peace. We need modern defence strategies for today’s challenges. These include protecting the Arctic, stopping cyber attacks, and building national disaster resilience. The Green Party will ensure Canada can protect itself while standing up for human rights around the world.
Green Economy
The world is moving to clean energy, but Canada is falling behind. Other countries are creating new industries and good jobs. Our government keeps supporting oil and gas companies. We’re missing out on millions of good jobs in the industries of tomorrow. The Green Party has a plan to fix this, with an economy that works for people, not polluters.
Strong Democracy
Too many Canadians feel their votes don’t matter. They don’t trust the government to listen. Big corporations have too much power. False information spreads too easily. Our voting system is outdated. The Green Party will fix these problems. We’ll ensure every Canadian voter has a real voice in our democracy.
Emergency Preparedness
Canada faces more disasters every year. Fires and floods destroy communities. Supply chains break down. Disease outbreaks threaten public health. But governments only react after disasters strike. The Green Party has a better plan. We’ll get ready for emergencies before they happen. We’ll make sure communities have what they need to face future crises.
